Hello, Square Works.
I'm Venetia.
I've spent more than 20 years behind the camera, but before photography became my world, I worked in Marketing Communications — and that experience still shapes almost everything I do.
I've photographed businesses and brands across the world, delivered photography training and workshops for companies, and spent a lot of time in rooms with marketing teams, helping them think more strategically about their visual content.
Because I don't believe in beautiful photographs created in isolation. I want to know the business behind them: who you're trying to reach, what you're trying to say, where the images actually need to work, and what else is happening across your brand.
For my Creative Partnership clients, I become part of the marketing team, in the room with designers, website teams, copywriters and strategists, making sure the imagery supports where the business is actually heading.
And sometimes the strategic call is simple: what you need right now is a brilliant, current headshot, and twenty minutes is plenty.
Photography is still at the heart of it. Video and strategic content sit alongside, when they're useful.

Quite a lot, actually.
One person. One session. Ten finished images, in different settings, with different expressions and different uses,
so you leave with the beginnings of a genuinely useful image library.

What should I wear?
Once you've booked, I'll send a short prep guide so you know exactly what to bring. Short version: whatever you'd wear to meet a client.
I'm terrible in front of the camera.
Everyone says this. Then everyone relaxes about four minutes in. I'll direct you the whole way through, you don't need to know how to pose.
What's the actual difference between the two?
Headshot Refresh gives you three strong portraits. Brand Photography Refresh gives you a proper spread, working shots, portraits, detail, for everywhere your business shows up.
Can I change my booking?
Yes, more than 14 days out, just move it to another slot. Inside 14 days, bookings are fixed, so do get in touch if something comes up.
When do I get my photos?
Edited images land in your inbox within 7 to 10 working days of your session.
Can I come every quarter?
Please do. Every session has a different setting, so your library keeps growing rather than repeating itself.
